Convert images
Turn iPhone HEIC photos into JPG, or any image into JPG, PNG or WebP. Several at once and without uploading them anywhere.
Everything happens in your browser: your files are never uploaded to a server.
How to use it
- Drop your images into the box, click to pick them or paste them with Ctrl+V.
- Pick the output format: JPG (opens everywhere), PNG (lossless, with transparency) or WebP (lightest for the web).
- If you pick JPG or WebP, adjust the quality. At 90% there is no visible difference.
- Download each image or all of them in a .zip.
FAQ
What is a HEIC file?
It is the format iPhones have used for photos since iOS 11. It is small, but many programs, websites and Android phones can't open it. Converting it to JPG fixes that.
Are my photos uploaded to a server?
No. Conversion happens inside your browser. Your photos never leave your device, HEIC included.
Why does the first HEIC photo take a moment?
Some browsers, like Chrome, can't open HEIC. In that case Tuulo downloads a decoder once (about 1.3 MB) and then converts every photo on your device.
Which format should I pick?
JPG if you want the photo to open anywhere. PNG if you need transparency or zero loss (bigger files). WebP for websites, when you want the lightest file.
Is transparency kept?
Yes in PNG and WebP. JPG does not support transparency, so transparent backgrounds become white.
Can I convert several at once?
Yes. Drop as many as you want and download them together in a .zip.
